A woman with ties to Ellsworth was taken in to custody Tuesday night after the shooting. The Bangor Daily News reports 25 year old Kayla Massicotte faces drug charges and violated bail. Police haven’t said if her arrest is connected to the shooting at Leadbetter’s on Hammond Street. Police did confirm she was arrested in the store. It’s reported a woman was in the car with Jozefowicz when police conducted a traffic stop at 6pm. Police say Jozefowicz fled and was shot and killed in the woods behind the store. Massicotte was convicted of theft in Ellsworth in 2012. Jail officials list her residence as Carmel but her criminal records say she resides in Ellsworth.
