The developer of the Parcher Street condo project in Ellsworth has withdrawn their application from the planning board. City planning officials tell Star 97.7, Harvey Hasleigh LLC. told city officials Tuesday they would withdraw their application entirely. The developer had submitted revisions to their plan to reduce the number of condo units and have an option to rent them. It’s unclear why the decision was made. A number of residents near the proposed project had voice their displeasure at the proposed condo units saying it would double the size of the neighborhood and increase traffic, among other concerns.
