Downeast Senior College is offering weekly one-hour public brown bag discussions about topics of local interest. The discussions are held on Tuesdays from noon-1 p.m. at Ellsworth City Hall. The events are free and open to the public. Participants are invited to bring a brown bag lunch.  On Tuesday, Feb. 28, Jane McCloskey will give a PowerPoint presentation on the creative life and work of her father, famed Maine artist and author Robert McCloskey.  For more information, call 667-3897.
