The Ellsworth United Methodist Church is hosting an Eggs and Exchange Breakfast on Sunday, May 21. Breakfast is scheduled for 9:30 am, followed by the guest speaker at 10. Detective Dotty Small of the Ellsworth Police Department will speak on Project HOPE. The project’s goal is placing people suffering from heroin and opiate addition, as well as other substance use disorders, into high quality treatment and rehabilitation programs. The project accepts donations of supplies such as nonperishable snacks, bottle water and travel-sized toiletries. People are asked to bring donations to the lobby of the Ellsworth police station.
