Lifeline Information at Brooksville Free Public Library

On Wednesday, Jan 25, from 1 to 4 pm, the Brooksville Free Public Library will host a free and informal informational session on Lifeline discounts. Lifeline is a federal program that provides eligible Maine residents a substantial discount on landline, cell phone or internet service. To qualify, you must receive assistance from one of the following programs: MaineCare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Section 8, LIHEAP, TANF, or Free School Lunch. Volunteers will be on hand to help people sign up. For more information, contact the library at 326-4560.
