On Thursday, March 30 at 6:30 pm at the Blue Hill Public Library, Kate McBrien of the Maine Historical Society will give a presentation about Malaga Island, a small island in Casco Bay that was the site of an interracial community from the Civil War until 1911, when the residents were forcibly evicted.
