Jacqueline Davidson is author of the book “Nets Through Time: The Technique and Art of Knotted Netting.” She teaches the technique to others and will be at the Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport on Saturday, July 1 from 1 to 4 pm. She will discuss the knots used to make diamond mesh (used in basketball nets) and square mesh (used in tennis nets) in this demonstration. The program is free with museum admission.
