The Halcyon Grange is hosting Jesse Watson, director of Midcoast Permaculture, in its first educational series talk about using permaculture for water and ecosystem management. The talk is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 18, at 7 pm.
]Permaculture is a design system for regenerating landscapes and whole ecosystems. In this presentation, Watson will discuss how to heal ecosystems, efficiently manage water, grow perennial food crops and adapt to climate change using the landscapes around us.
Grangers will offer light refreshments. This is a free event and all are welcome. The Halcyon Grange is located at 1157 Pleasant St. in North Blue Hill.
