“Weathering Shame” Talk in Prospect Harbor

The Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor is hosting Kevin Mannix, co-author of “Weathering Shame,” on Tuesday, May 10, at 2 pm.  In the book, Mannix and his wife, social worker Linda Rota, share their struggles, feelings of shame and the stigma surrounding families living with alcoholism, severe depression and suicide. The couple seek to offer comfort and inspire hope for others facing the same challenges. Admission is free. For more information, call 963-4027.
