A community veterans breakfast, hosted by Girl Scout Troop 422, is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, from 7-10 am at Ellsworth VFW Post 109. The public is welcome, and veterans eat for free. The Blue Hill Public Library’s annual plant sale fundraiser will be held on the library’s front lawn on Saturday, May 27 from 8 to 11 am. Come and browse close to 1,000 potted perennials.
